HELSINKI, Finland — 18 May 2016 — Comptel Corporation (OMX Helsinki: CTL1V) will share its vision for hybrid network disruption and OSS transformation at the Big Communications Event, taking place 24-25 May at the Austin Convention Center in Austin, Texas.

On Tuesday, 24 May at 11:30 a.m. – 12:20 p.m., Steve Hateley, Senior Director, Industry and Partner Marketing of Comptel, will join the “Network Orchestration: Service Lifecycle Orchestration” panel.

The discussion will centre around the importance of end-to-end management of customer-facing services and detail the reasons why bringing together service orchestration and assurance into a single approach is critical. The panel will highlight examples of the various ways service orchestration is growing beyond its origins in the transport/VPN domain and explore the different models that have emerged from industry groups to help attendees navigate them. It will also showcase the impact of next generation operational automation and analytics’ role in enhancing service processes.

The panel will be moderated by industry analyst Caroline Chappell, Practice Leader, Cloud and NFV, Heavy Reading, and Comptel will be joined by other industry thought leaders, representing forward-looking telecommunications companies including Deutsche Telekom, Fujitsu Network Communications, InfoVista and Viavi Solutions, to provide a comprehensive industry overview.

Throughout the Big Communications Event, Comptel representatives will be available to further discuss service orchestration best practices, its Digital Services Lifecycle Management™ model for conversational, automated service orchestration and fulfilment, and how Intelligent Fast Data and real-time analytics are enabling operators to transform business operations and maximise opportunities.
