Comptel’s Digital Service Lifecycle Management Model Earns Industry Recognition

Telecom Asia Readers’ Choice & Innovation Awards Honours Comptel’s Digital Service Lifecycle Management (DSLM) as the OSS Innovation of the Year.

HELSINKI, Finland— December 1 —Comptel Corporation (OMX Helsinki: CTL1V) has been recognised for its innovation in telco operations support systems (OSS) with the Digital Services Lifecycle Management (DSLM) model by the Telecom Asia Readers’ Choice & Innovation Awards.

DSLM won in the OSS Innovation of the Year category for providing communications service providers (CSPs) with a digital service strategy that both exploits new business opportunities and helps CSPs survive in today’s competitive environment. It is Comptel’s second consecutive win in the Telecom Asia Readers’ Choice & Innovation Awards, which celebrate prominent telecom industry innovators based on votes from Telecom Asia’s online subscriber base of service providers.

Comptel’s DLSM proposition offers a practical multilayer model for NFV in the digital services landscape. DSLM supports hybrid end-to-end service orchestration and a realistic approach for CSPs to evolve existing legacy OSS operations into those that can handle the onboarding of virtualised functions, digital service ordering and delivery, plus closed-loop living service automation. Comptel’s FLOWONE V service orchestration solution comprises the middle layer of DSLM, capable of digital service design, order orchestration, service delivery and federated physical, virtual and logical inventory representation.
