Comptel’s catalog solutions enable rapid product creation and delivery for the new generation Communications Service Provider. The catalog solutions include Comptel Service Repository (a product management and delivery platform) and Comptel Active Catalog (a federated Enterprise Service Catalog).

Comptel Service Repository offers a unique approach of breaking down a sellable product bundle into technical network capabilities—a key requirement for the quick re-use and re-definition of product offerings. Part of the Comptel Dynamic OSS Suite, Comptel Service Repository communicates with Comptel Provisioning and Activation for delivering the newly defined products automatically to minimise time-to-market.  It also provides an open interface for other external systems to query and update product data.

Comptel Active Catalog allows capabilities drawn from multiple service catalogs, repositories or databases to be federated into reusable components for customer-facing services. Its Service-Oriented Architecture allows CSPs to build and adapt marketable products quickly from established service components, bringing new revenues with minimal delay and allowing an agile response to market changes and competitor initiatives. Comptel Active Catalog then orchestrates the delivery of those same complex products across multiple service-specific delivery platforms, minimising errors, improving the customer experience and maximising the revenue opportunity from product innovation.
