2011 Broadband Traffic Management Awards
In November 2011, Comptel Policy Control was named a winner in Informa Telecoms & Media’s Broadband Traffic Management Awards program. Comptel Policy Control was recognised for its ability to help communications service providers (CSPs) manage and monetise broadband traffic through seamless integration with their OSS/BSS infrastructures.
2011 Communications Technology Platinum Awards
In October 2011, Comptel Policy Control was named a winner of the "Network Policy Control Solution" category in the Communications Technology Platinum Awards. Comptel Policy Control was recognised as one of the broadband industry's most innovative software solutions due to its proven capabilities and ease of deployment.
Telecom Service Management Vendor of the Year
In July 2011, Comptel was selected as a recipient of a 2011 Frost & Sullivan Asia Pacific ICT Award and been named Telecom Service Management Vendor of the Year. The award recognises Comptel's exemplary growth and performance in the region's OSS market in 2010.
The 2011 Frost & Sullivan Asia Pacific ICT Awards are presented to companies that demonstrate best practices in their industry, and the diligence, commitment and innovative business strategies required to advance the global marketplace.
The 2010 International Business Awards
In July 2010, Comptel Control and Charge was recognized by the International Business Awards in the 'Best New Telecommunications Product or Service of the Year' category with a Distinguished Honoree medal.
In 2009, Comptel was selected as one of the finalists of The 2009 International Business Awards in the same category based on its development of Comptel Bandwidth Management.
Best Support System in the World Vendor Awards
In May 2010, Comptel was honoured as the 'Best Support System' in the World Vendor Awards. The company was given this achievement for its product innovation, ease of use and applications of the Comptel Dynamic OSS portfolio, and customer satisfaction.
Superstar Mobile Star Award™
In December 2009, Comptel Policy Control received the 2009 Superstar Mobile Star Award™ from MobileVillage® in the "Customer or Device Management" category. In 2008, Comptel won the Silver Star Mobile Star Award in the same category for its Comptel Dynamic OSS portfolio.
The 2009 International Business Awards
Comptel was selected as one of the finalists of The 2009 International Business Awards in the ‘Best New Telecommunications Product or Service of the Year” category. The company was selected for this honour based on its development of Comptel Bandwidth Management.
The International Business Awards are the only global, all-encompassing business awards program honouring great performances in business. Finalists were chosen from more than 1,700 entries received from organisations and individuals in more than 30 countries.
2009 World BSS Award for Innovation
Comptel won a 2009 World BSS Award in the category of “Innovation in BSS”. The company was selected for this honour based on its development and applications of Comptel Bandwidth Management.
In its 13th year, the World BSS Awards helps raise awareness of the significance of billing and information management systems and processes to the communications industry by identifying key trends and rewarding BSS best practices. This year’s winners were selected by a panel of appointed experts from the OSS/BSS community.
Best Service Fulfillment Solution
Comptel won the Best Service Fulfillment Solution award in the Billing & OSS World 2009 Excellence Awards. Organized by Billing & OSS World magazine and Billing & OSS World Conference & Expo, the awards program recognizes the leaders—vendors, service providers and integrators—in the development and deployment of billing and OSS technologies and solutions.
OSS Vendor of the Year 2008
In December 2008, Comptel won the OSS Vendor of the Year award in the Telecom Asia Readers’ Choice Awards. Telecom Asia organised this awards program to recognise technology innovations and industry contributions of the top telecom vendors operating in Asia Pacific.
Nominations for the eleventh annual Telecom Asia Readers’ Choice Awards were made by 78 analysts, consultants and high-level industry executives. Telecom Asia’s editorial team then selected finalists for each of the categories, and opened the voting to its online subscriber base of service providers across Asia.
Silver Star Mobile Star Award™
In November 2008, the Comptel Dynamic OSS™ portfolio of solutions received the 2008 Silver Star Mobile Star Award™ from MobileVillage® in the operator software category for customer or device management.
Stratecast Global Billing Mediation 2007 Award
In April 2007, Comptel won the "2007 Stratecast Global Billing Mediation Responsive To Customer Needs Award", awarded by leading industry analyst Stratecast, a division of Frost & Sullivan.
According to Stratecast, the "Global Billing Mediation Responsive to Customers' Needs Award is bestowed upon the company that has demonstrated flexibility in tailoring their product offerings to suit their customers' business needs. The recipient company developed and implemented new product lines that set unprecedented standards for meeting their customers' needs. The recipient company has also shown tremendous responsiveness to customer needs and has continually focused on long and short-term customer profitability goals".
In its "Billing Mediation Sector Assessment" report, Stratecast highlighted three main reasons for the selection of Comptel: monitoring and responding to customer feedback; improvement in customer satisfaction level; and ability to grow in a changing market.
